Principal’s Message

Principal-message

As Salaam Alykum!

Salaam Alykum!

I want to take a moment to express my sincere appreciation to the staff, students, and families of PACE Academy for their continuous efforts and commitment. Your dedication plays a crucial role in making PACE Academy a nurturing, caring, and academically enriching institution. Our teachers, staff, and parents work tirelessly to support student success, and I am incredibly proud of our students for their hard work and accomplishments.

At PACE Academy, we strive to maintain a rigorous academic program alongside strong Islamic values. Our students engage in Qur’an Hifz, Arabic, Islamic Studies, and a full K12 curriculum under the guidance of experienced PACE Learning Coaches.

Commitment to Excellence

PACE Academy is more than just a school—it is a community where education is seamlessly integrated with character development. Our mission is to instill in our students a love for learning while nurturing their spiritual, intellectual, emotional, and social growth. By working together, parents, staff, and students can ensure that PACE Academy continues to be a place of academic excellence and Islamic values.

Our students are expected to uphold the values of respect, responsibility, and safety, fostering a positive and disciplined learning environment. Through daily lessons, community engagement, and extracurricular activities, we encourage students to develop strong moral character and apply their knowledge in meaningful ways.

PACE Academy accepts applications from prospective parents throughout the year and those interested are encouraged to contact us by way of telephone (425) 686-8159, or e-mail contact@pacewa.org or by using the contact form to get information.

At PACE Academy, we believe that learning and personal growth go hand in hand—there is no separation between acquiring knowledge and developing wisdom. These principles are seamlessly interwoven with the golden thread of Islamic faith—it’s what we live and practice every day!

Our commitment to educating the whole child goes beyond rigorous academics. We emphasize personal wellness, character development, and strong moral values. Through meaningful activities and interactions both in the classroom and within the community, we strive to model and reinforce positive behavior. Our three core behavioral standards—Be Safe, Be Respectful, Be Responsible—instill a sense of personal accountability and foster consideration for oneself and others.

The Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) said: “One who treads a path in search of knowledge has his path to Paradise made easy by God…” – (Riyadh us-Saleheen, 245)

Encouraging Lifelong Learning

PACE Academy encourages parents and students to remain engaged in learning beyond the classroom. Whether through independent reading, hands-on projects, or participation in educational programs, students should strive to expand their knowledge continuously. Here are some great resources to keep students motivated:

  • King County Library System Summer Reading Program (Encourages reading and rewards participation)
  • IXL.com (An interactive, immersive K-12 learning experience)
  • Khan Academy (www.khanacademy.org) (Short lectures with practice exercises)
  • Free Math Resources (www.educatorstechnology.com)

Building a Stronger Community

PACE Academy values open communication and encourages parents to share feedback and suggestions to help strengthen our institution. The partnership between parents, teachers, and staff fosters a strong sense of community, ensuring that each student receives the best possible support in their educational journey.

Thank you for being an integral part of the PACE Academy family. I am honored to serve as your principal, and I look forward to another year of learning, growth, and success, InshaAllah.

Best Regards,
Wahida Arif
